I can't find a book on the shelf. What should I do?

Take the following steps if you can't find a book on our shelves that shows as "Available" in the library catalog.

1. First check with the circulation student at the main desk. The book may be in the re-shelving area.
2. If the desk staff cannot find the book there, they will submit an online request for the book.
3. Our staff will receive the request and then make a thorough search for the book and contact you by email when we find it.
